I started painting late in life. I like to think that with age comes enhanced perspective, life experience, insight and vision.  I work in graphite, oil, and pastel. I enjoy still life, but my true calling is to understand and convey the human condition.   I observe with a keen eye, and  try to understand and portray the  emotions of my subject and invite the viewer to respond.
